Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to an image generation device and an image generation method that enable generation of a high-precision parallax image. A parallax image generation unit generates a parallax image representing a parallax between a pair of viewpoints using a region left after excluding an exclusion region which is an over-exposed region and/or an under-exposed region within multiple exposure pair images captured using multiple exposure values for each two-viewpoint pair. The present disclosure is applicable to an image generation device, etc., for generating, for example, an HDR celestial sphere image.
