Abstract:
In the present invention, a delay time acquisition unit 780 acquires a delay time needed from when an image which can be seen in a sight line direction from a viewpoint at a certain time is rendered to when the image is displayed. A motion amount prediction unit 790 predicts a motion amount of at least one of the viewpoint and the sight line direction during the delay time. A deficient region calculation unit 800 calculates, on the basis of the motion amount, a deficient region that is generated in the image which is displayed in a display region established by the viewpoint and the sight line direction after movement. An image processing unit 750 generates the image in the range of an expanded region including the deficient region.
