Abstract:
An image generation device according to the present invention comprises: an ambient information acquisition unit (S130) which obtains ambient information including ambient brightness information; an image synthesis unit (S190) which generates a luster-synthesized image in which a preset image of an article (40) having lustrous portions (41, 42) is combined with images of the lustrous portions synthesized in accordance with the ambient information; and an image output unit (S200) which outputs the luster-synthesized image. Thus, the image generation device generates a luster-synthesized image synthesized using images matching ambient information, making it possible to reproduce a naturally-looking image of light reflected from lustrous portions in accordance with ambient conditions.
