Abstract:
Provided in the embodiments of the description are an image-guided radiotherapy system and a method thereof. The system comprises: a first detection component configured for collecting photon signals generated by radionuclides in the body of a subject to determine a first image of a target area of the subject; at least one imaging source configured for emitting an imaging beam to the target area of the subject to determine a second image; and a radiation source configured for emitting a treatment beam to the target area of the subject. The first detection component and the at least one imaging source are mounted on a first rotatable portion. The radiation source is mounted on a second rotatable portion. The first rotatable portion and the second rotatable portion are coaxially and coplanarly arranged. The first detection component or the at least one imaging source is configured moveable relative to the first rotatable portion.
