Abstract:
Provided is an image information collating system that is able to effectively utilize image information obtained from an on-board camera for a purpose other than the convenience of the vehicle itself on which the on-board camera is mounted. An image information collating system 1 has: a collation data storage unit 13 for storing data for collation; on-board cameras A, B, C which capture images of the state outside the vehicle; a data comparison unit 14 that collates image information obtained from the on-board cameras A, B, C with data for collation stored in the collation data storage unit 13 using biometrics authentication, character recognition, or image recognition; and a notification means 17 that notifies the collation results from the data comparison unit 14.
