Abstract:
A feature is that RGB image data having a definition region including even a negative value is created by converting CMYG image data into the RGB image data by means of an area sensor (11) that outputs an analog signal corresponding to the quantity of light of one of C, M, Y, and G colors without executing any processing of changing the RGB image data into data of more than zero and without reducing the amount of information that the CMYG image data has. Another feature is that a file unit (16) finally records the image data as a JPEG file by expressing the image data on each of the Y, Cb, and Cr colors in a data format of 8 bits and defining the amount of information per pixel to be 24 bits without increasing the memory capacity, thereby recording a more amount of color information.
