Abstract:
An image matching method and device for improving the matching accuracy of a foreground image of a template image and a sub-image of a target image. The method comprises: acquiring a template image (101); determining a foreground image in the template image (102), wherein the foreground image is a set of pixel points of an actual object in the template image; when the template image covers a target image, calculating a grey-scale feature of the foreground image and a grey-scale feature of a sub-image (103), wherein the sub-image is an image, corresponding to the foreground image, on the target image when the template image covers the target image; calculating a normalized cross-correlation of the foreground image and the sub-image by means of the grey-scale feature of the foreground image and the grey-scale feature of the target image (104); and when the normalized cross-correlation is greater than a pre-set value, determining that the foreground image matches the sub-image (105). The method is used for improving the matching accuracy of a foreground image of a template image and a sub-image of a target image.
