Abstract:
An image coding/decoding method and apparatus using a correlation in YCbCr are disclosed. Provided according to one aspect of the present embodiment is an image decoding method for predicting and decoding a block to be decoded, the image decoding method comprising the steps of: generating a residual block of a chroma block by receiving a bit stream; generating reconstructed information of a luma block, corresponding to the chroma block, and neighboring reconstructed information of the luma block; generating neighboring reconstructed information of the chroma block; determining a scaling value and an offset value by using the neighboring reconstructed information of the chroma block and the neighboring reconstructed information of the luma block; generating a prediction block of the chroma block by applying the determined scaling value and offset value to the reconstructed information of the luma block; and generating a reconstructed block of the chroma block on the basis of the residual block of the chroma block and the prediction block of the chroma block.
