Abstract:
An image encoding/decoding method and apparatus are provided. An image decoding method of the present disclosure may comprise the steps of: obtaining subblock-based transform use information; when the subblock-based transform use information indicates the use of subblock-based transform, obtaining at least one of subblock-based transform partition information, subblock-based transform partition direction information, and subblock-based transform position information; and performing subblock-based transform on a current block on the basis of at least one of the subblock-based transform partition information, the subblock-based transform partition direction information, and the subblock-based transform position information, wherein the subblock-based transform use information is obtained when each of the width of the current block and the height of the current block is smaller than a maximum transform size.
