Abstract:
In the present invention, identification of pixels having defects is carried out with even greater accuracy. In order to identify a faulty pixel after correcting an initial defective pixel and performing NUC processing of an initial good pixel, an image pick-up device (1) enables faulty pixel identification to be performed with even greater accuracy as compared to a case where a faulty pixel is identified without performing correction on an initial defective pixel or performing NUC processing. Further, in a control means (40), on the basis of information specifying an initial defective pixel, image pick-up data acquired by an image pick-up unit (10) is corrected, corrected image pick-up data is generated and thereafter a faulty pixel is identified, and thereby pixels can be identified in which a defect has occurred other than an initial defect; therefore, correction of image pick-up data acquired from a faulty pixel other than the initial defective pixel can be performed.
