Title:
IMAGE PICKUP APPARATUS AND SHADING CORRECTION METHOD
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2013/027513
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to enable reliable correction of shading originating from pupil division, and to easily obtain a three-dimensional image having little shading difference compared to a two-dimensional image. An image pickup apparatus is provided with: an image pickup element (16) comprising a first pixel group and a second pixel group, each of which executes photoelectric conversion of a light flux passing through a different area in a single image-pickup optical system (12), and capable of generating a first image composed of output values of the first pixel group and a second image composed of output values of the second pixel group, said image pickup element (16) having a built-in pixel adding means capable of generating a two-dimensional image by adding the pixel values of the first pixel group and the pixel values of the second pixel group; and an image processing unit (24) that operates on the output values of the first and second pixel groups with correction coefficients stored in a memory (48) so that the shading configuration of the first image and the shading configuration of the second image match the shading configuration of the two-dimensional image.
