Abstract:
The present invention is capable of reducing fluctuation of characteristics of a junction-type field effect transistor.
According to an embodiment of the present invention, an image pickup apparatus is provided with a plurality of pixels, each of which includes a junction-type field effect transistor that is disposed on a semiconductor substrate. The junction-type field effect transistor includes a gate region and a channel region. The gate region and the channel region intersect each other in a planar view.
