Abstract:
According to the technology of the present invention, an image pickup apparatus has: an image pickup unit, which is provided in a main body section, and which picks up an image of a subject; an operating section, which is provided in the main body section, and which performs photographing operations using the image pickup unit; a display section, which is provided in the main body section, and which has a display surface that displays an image picked up by means of the image pickup unit, and an object that sets photographing conditions of the image pickup unit; and a touch sensor for operating the object that sets the photographing conditions, said touch sensor being disposed on the display surface of the display section. The image pickup apparatus is also provided with: a displacement detection section, which detects that the display surface of the display section is displaced to a position facing the subject; and a display control section, which is configured to change the display position of the object on the display surface when the displacement detection section detects that the display surface is displaced to the position facing the subject.
