Abstract:
This image pickup apparatus is provided with: a plurality of first pixels, which have a plurality of color components, and generate first signals by photoelectrically converting inputted light; a plurality of second pixels, which photoelectrically convert light that has passed through the first pixels, and generate second signals; and a drive section, which reads out the first signals from the first pixels, and reads out the second signals from the second pixels at a timing different from a timing at which the first signals are read out.
