Abstract:
An image pickup device of the present invention has: a plurality of pixels, each of which has a plurality of first electrodes that are provided on one surface of a light receiving section that receives incoming light, and a plurality of second electrodes that are provided on the other surface of the light receiving section; and an output section that outputs a signal generated by the light receiving section by receiving the incoming light, said light receiving section being sandwiched between the second electrodes, and the first electrodes to which a voltage is applied.
