Abstract:
This image pickup device is provided with: an image pickup unit; a storage unit; and a control unit, which causes the image pickup unit to pick up a plurality of images, compares the picked up images and previously stored feature patterns with each other, and stores, in the storage unit, at least one of the images selected on the basis of results of the comparison.
