Abstract:
Disclosed is an image pickup device which can pick up using one image pickup element an image of each region of a subject, of which image is to be picked up, said subject having two regions having different reflectivities. The image pickup device (100) picks up an image of the subject to be measured (500), which has a first region (510) having a first reflectivity, and a second region (520) having a second reflectivity which is larger than the first reflectivity. The image pickup device picks up, in one image pickup period, a first image, which is picked up by exposing the first region and the second region for a first exposure time that is suitable for exposing the first region, and a second image, which is picked up by exposing the first region and the second region for a second exposure time that is shorter than the first exposure time and suitable for exposing the second region.
