Abstract:
Disclosed is an image pickup device (100) that is provided with: a first image generation unit (10A), which includes a first image pickup unit (131a) capable of picking up an image of a first image pickup region extending in the first direction, and a first illuminating unit (14a) that illuminates the first image pickup region from the first illuminating direction; a second image generation unit (10B), which includes a second image pickup unit (131b) capable of picking up an image of a second image pickup region extending in the second direction that is different from the first direction, and a second illuminating unit (14b) that illuminates the second image pickup region from the second illuminating direction in plan view of the second image pickup region, said second illuminating direction being different from the first illuminating direction; and a drive unit (16) that integrally moves, in the predetermined moving direction, the first image generating unit (10A) and the second image generating unit (10B).
