Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an image pickup device with which high ranging accuracy and deep depth of field can be achieved. The present invention includes: a first pixel provided with a first light-blocking member; and a second pixel provided with a second light-blocking member. These pixels carry out phase difference detection. A third pixel provided with a third light-blocking member carries out image pickup. A third opening of the third light-blocking member is disposed at the center part of the third pixel. In a prescribed direction, the length of the third opening is shorter than the length of a first opening of the first light-blocking member and that of a second opening of the second light-blocking member.
