Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an image pickup device whereby a camera main body having an image pickup element can be more reduced in thickness compared with conventional cases.
[Solution] This image pickup device is provided with a camera main body 2 having an image pickup element 11, and an opening 15a is formed in the subject-side surface of the camera main body 2. The camera main body 2 is provided with: an optical filter 13 that is disposed on the subject side of the image pickup element 11; a holding member 14 that holds at least the optical filter 13; and a cover member 26, in which an opening 26a smaller than the opening 15a is formed, said cover member being disposed further toward the side opposite to the subject than the opening 15a. In the camera main body 2, a part of the holding member 14 is disposed in the opening 26a.
