Abstract:
Provided is a novel disposition configuration of optical black pixels. Provided is an image pickup element that is provided with: microlenses; pixels, each of which is provided corresponding to each of the microlenses, and each of which generates image data by photoelectrically converting light inputted through a filter having predetermined spectroscopic characteristics; and correction pixels, each of which is provided corresponding to each of the microlenses, and each of which generates correction data to be used for the purpose of removing noise included in the image data. An image pickup apparatus that is provided with the image pickup element is also provided.
