Abstract:
Provided is an image pickup lens which has a deep focal depth from the central portion to the outer portion of an image plane focused on an image sensor and can suppress resolution reduction by maintaining the focal depth within a practical range. Specifically provided is an image pickup lens (7) comprising, in order from the object side to the image plane side, an aperture stop (5), a first lens (1) configured from a biconvex lens having positive power, a second lens (2) configured from a meniscus lens having negative power and having a convex lens surface on the object side, a third lens (3) configured from a meniscus lens having positive power and having a concave lens surface on the object side, and a fourth lens (4) configured from a biconcave lens having negative power. A multifocal lens surface is provided as the lens surface on the object side of the first lens (1). The image pickup lens (7) satisfies the following conditional expression (1):
0≤D/Ymax≤0.1 … (1)
where D is the absolute value of the distance on the optical axis between the multifocal lens surface and the plane of the aperture stop (5), and Ymax is the absolute value of the maximum image height on the image plane focused on the image sensor.
