Abstract:
The present invention provides an image pickup lens tube and a method for controlling the motion thereof. An image pickup lens tube is provided with: a magnetic sensor device which includes a tube main body, a rotation body in which first and second magnetic scales are formed, a first magnetic sensor for detecting first and second phase signals from the first magnetic scale, and a second magnetic sensor for detecting third and fourth phase signals from the second magnetic scale; a phase difference calculation means for calculating the phase difference between the first phase signal and the third phase signal; a correction table memory for storing a correction table in which a correction value for correcting a difference from a set value according to the calculated phase difference at a timing at which the phase of the first phase signal becomes zero degrees is stored; a phase difference correction means for reading the correction value from the correction table at a timing at which the phase of the first phase signal is different from zero degrees and correcting the phase difference; and an absolute position calculation means for calculating an absolute position from the corrected phase difference, and the relationship between a predetermined phase difference and the absolute position of an image pickup lens.
