Abstract:

An image preparation device comprises: a storage unit for storing three-dimensional information for a target scenery associated with the arrangement, shape, and optical characteristics of a structure in a virtual target scenery, three-dimensional information for an eyeglass lens associated with the arrangement, shape, and optical characteristics of an eyeglass lens, and three-dimensional information for an eyeball associated with the arrangement, shape, and optical characteristics of the eyes of a wearer who looks at the target scenery through a virtual eyeglass lens; and a retinal image preparation unit for preparing a retinal image on the basis of the three-dimensional information for a target scenery, the three-dimensional information for an eyeglass lens, and the three-dimensional information for an eyeball. The retinal image is a virtual image which is projected onto the retina of the eyes of the wearer when the wearer looks at the target scenery through the eyeglass lens.
