Abstract:
An image preprocessing method and device for image registration. The method comprising: selecting a window dimension of Gaussian filtering and a smoothness parameter of Gaussian filtering to construct a Gaussian filtering function (110); respectively calculating first-order partial derivatives of the Gaussian filtering function in different directions (120); performing convolution operation respectively between the first-order partial derivatives in different directions and original images in the corresponding directions and between the first-order partial derivatives in different directions and images to be registered in the corresponding directions, to obtain filtered original images and filtered images to be registered in the corresponding directions (130); and performing image registration between the filtered original images and the filtered images to be registered (140). This invention achieves filtering denoising during image registration, improving the precision of image registration.
