Abstract:
An image printer comprising an exposure head (221) for subjecting a photosensitive material to line exposure, a position restriction member (225) provided in a position facing the exposure head (221) and having an apex portion on an optical axis (L) of the exposure head (221), a first transfer passage (26) provided on the upstream side of the position restriction member (225) and used to transfer the photosensitive material toward the position restriction member (225), and a second transfer passage (28) provided on the downstream side of the position restriction member (225) and used to transfer the photosensitive material which has passed the position restriction member (225) toward a downstream side, the apex portion (226) of the position restriction member (225) being positioned on the side of the exposure head (221) with respect to intersections of the extensions of the first and second transfer passages (26, 28) and the optical axis (L) of the exposure head (221), the position restriction member (225) having at an upstream side of the apex portion (226) an inclined portion (227) for guiding a front end portion of the photosensitive material, which is transferred from the first transfer passage, to the apex portion (226).
