Abstract:
This image processing apparatus comprises: an internal structure image output unit for constructing, on the basis of volume data indicating a three-dimensional internal structure of an object, an internal structure image in which a color parameter continuously changes from a first depth to a second depth within the range from a predetermined reference surface to a depth not less than the first depth and not more than the second depth to display the same on a display unit; a profile image output unit for displaying, on the display unit, a profile image indicating the relationship of the depth from the reference surface and the color parameter; and an input reception unit for receiving operation of a pointing device, wherein: the input reception unit is configured to receive the change of at least one of the first depth and the second depth depending on the operation of the pointing device when the pointing device operation position is on the profile image; the internal structure image output unit is configured to reconstruct an internal structure image in which a color parameter within the post-change depth range that has been received by the input reception unit is changed from the post-change first depth to the second depth in a similar manner to the change of the pre-change color parameter to redisplay the same on the display unit; and the profile image output unit is configured to reconstruct a profile image depending on the post-change first depth and second depth that have been received by the input reception unit to redisplay the same on the display unit.
