Abstract:
According to the invention, when a Web page in which a plurality of elements included in a structured document have been arranged is arranged to a page and output, information indicating corresponding positions of the plurality of elements arranged in the Web page in the page in which the Web page is arranged is obtained. The element(s) to be arranged to two pages among the plurality of elements arranged in the Web page are detected based on the obtained information. Whether the element(s)as detected is divided and arranged to the two pages or the element(s) is arranged to one of the two pages is determined, according to contents of the element(s). At least a part of the element(s) is arranged to one of the two pages according to the determination. An image corresponding to the page in which at least a part of the element(s) has been arranged is output. Thus, a layout of the elements to each page can be properly determined according to the contents of the element(s) and the image can be output.
