Abstract:
Provided is an image processing apparatus and the like for preventing a cause of discomfort from occurring in an image after color conversion. A color conversion parameter is generated such that: an object color in a UV plane is converted to a target color; colors in an adjustment area 50 centered on the object color are converted such that the closer to the boundaries of the adjustment area 50 those colors are from the center, the closer to the colors of the boundary portions those colors become from the target color; and no color conversions occur in the boundary portions. Such color conversion parameter is used to perform color conversion of a desired color image.
