Abstract:

Provided is an image processing device, which is characterized in comprising the following: a map generation means for generating a map that has left-right position information and distance information and that is constituted by pixels which have been associated with frequency values; a detection means for detecting a pixel cluster comprising multiple pixels having feature quantities in common in the map; and a frame generation means for generating a detection frame which prescribes a retrieval object region for detecting objects from a distance image, on the basis of information indicated by the pixels constituting the pixel cluster that was detected by the detection means.
