Disclosed are an image processing device and an image capture apparatus using the same, wherein quality images are able to be obtained even when there are unexpected aberrations. The image processing device comprises a first order restored image generating means for performing image restoration processing on an input image which comprises a plurality of color components and generating a first order restored image, a restored component information generating means for calculating the difference between the input image and the first order restored image and generating difference information for each of the plurality of color components, and a second order restored image generating means for using the difference information to generate a second order restored image. The second order restored image generating means generates, for one color component of the input image, color composite restored component information based on the difference information of the plurality of color components.
