Abstract:
Disclosed are an image processing device, an image capture device, a program, and an image processing method, which are capable of acquiring a high-resolution image from a low-resolution image with a simple process. An image processing device includes a memory unit, an estimate computation unit, and an image output unit. Pixels are sequentially pixel shifted while being superpositioned, and pixel received light values (a00 to a11) are acquired as a low-resolution frame image. The memory unit stores the low-resolution frame image. The estimate computation unit estimates an estimated pixel value of a pixel pitch p/2 that is smaller than a pixel pitch p of the low-resolution frame image. The image output unit outputs a high-resolution frame image with a higher resolution than the low-resolution frame image, on the basis of the estimated pixel value. In such a circumstance, the estimate computation unit derives the difference (a10-a00) of the received light value of the pixel of a first position (a00) and the received light value of the pixel of a second position (a10), and estimates the estimated pixel value on the basis of the difference (a10-a00).
