The present invention provides an image processing device, an image-capturing device, an image processing method, and a program capable of easily confirming an effect in a point-image restoration process, or, even when a photographed image before undergoing the point-image restoration process contains noise, etc. (e.g. a saturated pixel), capable of appropriately confirming the effect of the point-image restoration process. This image processing device is provided with: a point-image restoration processing unit (40) for accepting a photographed image as input thereto, performing a point-image restoration process on the photographed image on the basis of point-image restoration information, and generating a restored image; an area information output unit (45) for outputting area information pertaining to a specific area in the restored image when the strength of restoration by the point-image restoration process, based on the point-image restoration information, becomes greater than or equal to a threshold; a display control unit (50) for accepting the restored image and area information as input thereto, and controlling display, on the basis of the area information, so that the specific area in the restored image is highlighted; and a display unit (55) for highlighting at least the specific area on the basis of display control by the display control unit (50).
