Abstract:

The purpose of the present invention is to suppress deterioration in reproduction quality in an image capturing device for capturing sounds and moving images. A scene change detection unit detects, as a detected frame, a frame when a scene has changed from among a plurality of frames captured at a predetermined frame rate. A frame rate conversion unit converts the frame rate of a frame captured outside a detection period including a time when the detected frame was captured among the plurality of frames into a low frame rate lower than the predetermined frame rate. A video reproduction time setting unit sets, as a video reproduction time for each of the plurality of frames, a reproduction time at the time of reproduction at the low frame rate. A sound reproduction time setting unit sets a sound reproduction time at regular intervals for each of a plurality of sounds recorded at regular intervals outside the detection period, and sets a sound reproduction time synchronized with the video reproduction time corresponding to the detected frame for a sound recorded within the detection period.
