Disclosed are an image processing device and an image capturing device using the same, capable of performing calibration easily and accurately without requiring any special equipment. The device is provided with at least two cameras (4a, 4b), a corresponding area calculation unit (23) for obtaining the correspondence relationship of areas in images obtained from the respective cameras; a matching degree calculation unit (24) for calculating a degree of matching regarding information obtained from corresponding areas in the images obtained from the respective cameras; and a camera parameter calculation unit (25) for calculating a camera parameter on the basis of the degree of matching calculated by the matching degree calculation unit.
