Abstract:
Provided are an image processing device, a control method, and a control program, with which it is possible to issue appropriate instructions to a user photographing a meter. The image processing device is portable, and has: an output unit; an imaging unit that sequentially generates input images photographing the meter; a detection unit that detects the meter portion from the input image; and an instruction unit that outputs, to the output unit, instructions for the user for moving the image processing device so that the numerical values in the meter are imaged at a prescribed position and a prescribed size within the input image, on the basis of the inclination and size of the meter portion detected in the input image.
