Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to generate, with a simple process, an image with which may be obtained a stereoscopic effect which approximates actual perception in the natural world. A control unit (10) of a display device (100) comprises: a region of interest identification unit (11) which, from among a plurality of regions which have been formed by vertically segmenting an image which is to be displayed by a display unit (50), identifies a region of interest on the basis of a fixation point which has been detected by a fixation point detection sensor (60); and an image processing unit (13) which, by carrying out upon the image an enhancement process in at least a portion of the region of interest, generates a post-process image.
