Abstract:
The present invention provides an image processing device or the like which is capable of improving local dimming accuracy. A display device (1) equipped with a first image processing unit (10) and a second image processing unit (20) for subjecting some divided image regions among a plurality of divided image regions to image processing, wherein each of the plurality of image processing units generates control data for controlling the backlight divided region which corresponds to the divided image region to be processed by that image processing unit, the control data is transmitted and received between the image processing units, and the image processing is performed using the received control data.
