This image processing device is provided with a first motion vector detecting unit, a second motion vector detecting unit, a first moving image creating unit, a second moving image creating unit, and a correction image creating unit. The first motion vector detecting unit detects a first motion vector indicating motion from an image of a next frame to an image of a target frame, and the second motion vector detecting unit detects a second motion vector indicating motion from an image of a previous frame to the image of the target frame. The first moving image creating unit creates data of a first moving image on the basis of data of the image of the next frame and the first motion vector, and the second moving image creating unit creates data of a second moving image on the basis of data of the image of the previous frame and the second motion vector. The correction image creating unit creates, on the basis of the data of the image of the target frame, the first moving image, and the second moving image, data of a correction image in which the image of the target frame is corrected.
