Abstract:
This image forming device (10) is provided with: a storage unit (19) which stores a manuscript image (D1); a character area specifying unit (22) which specifies a character area (CA) in the manuscript image (D1); an image acquisition unit (23) which acquires an image of the character area (CA) from the manuscript image (D1); an annotation line specifying unit (24) which detects annotation lines (L1-L3) from the character area (CA) and specifies the positions of the annotation lines (L1-L3); a generation unit (29) which uses the manuscript image (D1) to generate a corrected image (CID) which does not include images present outside of the character area (CA) in the manuscript image (D1) and from which the annotation lines (L1-L3) have been erased from the image of the character area (CA).
