Abstract:
The image processing device according to an embodiment of the present invention is provided with: an acquisition unit for acquiring a plurality of optical coherence tomographic images generated by radiating light to an eyeball by optical coherence tomography, the resolution of the optical coherence tomographic images in a first direction being high in comparison with the resolution thereof in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction, the plurality of optical coherence tomographic images being arranged in a third direction orthogonal to the first direction and to the second direction; and a determination unit for determining whether a detection region is a predetermined image region in which a predetermined phenomenon is occurring in the eyeball on the basis of a comparison of pixel values in the detection region and a control region set in a region surrounding the detection region in a virtual three-dimensional image formed by the plurality of optical coherence tomographic images acquired by the acquisition unit.
