Abstract:
The image processing method pertaining to this invention comprises: capturing a partial image corresponding to a trimming region indicated for a plurality of viewpoint images in a stereoscopic image obtained by pupil-division imaging, the images being captured from each of the viewpoint images, to generate a stereoscopic partial image comprising a plurality of partial images; generating disparity information representing the disparity between the partial images; and adjusting the disparity between the partial images on the basis of the disparity information so that the sharpness is kept higher as the post-adjustment disparity decreases in the disparity-adjusted partial images, and lower as the post-adjustment disparity increases.
