Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a technique for maintaining consistency in displaying of a split image (focus confirmation image) among a plurality of display means and improving user's usability. A camera main body according to the present invention has an EVF (28) and a back LCD (30) (a plurality of display means) each having the different resolution (number of constituent pixels) of a display region. In a manual focus mode, a normal image (81) and a split image (82) are displayed on the EVF (28) and the back LCD (30). The split image (82) is displayed while maintaining mutual consistency between the EVF (28) and the back LCD (30). For example, in order to have the same angle of view of the displayed split image (82) between the EVF (28) and the back LCD (30), at least one of the pixels used in generating the split image (82), the enlargement/reduction factor of the split image (82), and the pixel region in which the split image (82) is displayed is differentiated between the EVF (28) and the back LCD (30).
