Abstract:
The present invention provides an image processing device, an imaging device, an image processing method, and a program, whereby a bird's eye view of a subject and detailed checking are possible from a plurality of captured images obtained by continuous imaging while moving the imaging range of an imaging unit in the horizontal direction. An embodiment of the present invention generates a panorama image from the plurality of captured images obtained by continuously imaging while moving the imaging range of the imaging unit in the horizontal direction. The plurality of captured images are stored as original images, in an image storage unit. A display area for enlarged display is set within the panorama image. A determination is made as to whether or not the display area is within the imaging range of the original images. If a determination is made that the display area is not within said imaging range, the display area is trimmed from the panorama image and displayed enlarged on a display unit. If a determination is made that the display area is within the imaging range of the original images, a corresponding area corresponding to the display area is trimmed from the original images and displayed on the display unit.
