Abstract:
[Problem] To improve the precision of parallax determinations in image processing for medical purposes. [Solution] Provided is an image processing device for medical use, the image processing device comprising: a region determination unit that uses a region determination image that shows the same field of view as a parallax determination image to determine a non-living-body region within the field of view; and a parallax determination unit that, as a result of the determination of the non-living-body region by the region determination unit, uses the parallax determination image to determine the parallax to be applied to at least the non-living-body region.
