Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an image processing device, image processing method and camera system which make it possible to conveniently obtain images exhibiting favorable image quality and identical resolution even when the images are outputted by a plurality of imaging systems. An image processing device 63 (35) is equipped with: a transfer function input unit 3 into which each of the transfer functions for the plurality of imaging systems is inputted; a calculation unit 5 which, on the basis of the inputted transfer functions and a prescribed reference, calculates a target resolution value, which is a target restoration processing value for restoring the plurality of captured images outputted by the plurality of imaging systems; a restoration filter generation unit 7 for generating restoration filters to be used in the restoration processing for the plurality of imaging systems, on the basis of the target resolution value and the transfer functions for the plurality of imaging systems; and a restored image generation unit 9 for generating a restored image by subjecting the captured images obtained from the plurality of imaging systems to restoration processing by using the restoration filter generated for each of the plurality of imaging systems.
