Abstract:
An image processing device comprises: a WDR image sensor photographing a subject and outputting image frames; a wide-range image synthesizing unit for synthesizing a wide-range image frame by synthesizing n number of sub-channels included in each of the image frames; a knee curve generation unit for calculating an integrated histogram from luminance levels of a total m×n number of sub-channels included in m number of image frames among the image frames and generating a knee curve from the integrated histogram; and a dynamic range conversion unit for reducing the dynamic range of the synthesized wide-range image by using the generated knee curve.
