An objective of the present invention is to effectively correct an unnatural pixel value which arises near an edge of an object which is included in a viewpoint change image in which a viewpoint is changed. A storage unit (12) stores depth data of each pixel of viewpoint change image data. An edge extraction unit (15a) extracts an edge of the depth data which is stored in the storage unit (12). On the basis of the information of the location of the edge which is extracted with the edge extraction unit (15a), a correction range setting unit (15b) sets a correction range of the viewpoint change image data. On the basis of the pixel value of the pixel of the viewpoint change image data which corresponds to the pixel in the location of the edge which is extracted with the edge extraction unit (15a) and the information of the pixel value of the pixel of the viewpoint change image data which corresponds to the pixel which is separated by a prescribed number of pixels from the pixel in the location of the edge, a process selection unit (15c) selects a correction process which is applied to the viewpoint change image data. A process execution unit (16) executes the correction process which is selected by the process selection unit (15c).
