Abstract:

[Problem] To provide a novel image processing device, image processing method, and computer program which can be used in an external appearance examination. [Solution] An image processing device (100) comprising a processor (10) and a memory (12) storing a program for controlling the operation of the processor. The processor: acquires image data that includes one or more inspection areas possessed by an object to be inspected, and divides the image data into a plurality of pixel blocks; calculates a density co-occurrence matrix for each pixel block on the basis of a texture for each pixel block; calculates a plurality of feature amounts from the density co-occurrence matrix for each pixel block, and allocates the plurality of feature amounts to the pixel blocks; and classifies the pixel blocks as a non-defective pixel block or a defective pixel block on the basis of the plurality of feature amounts.
