Title:
IMAGE PROCESSING DEVICE AND METHOD, AND IMAGING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/007041
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention provides an image processing method, an image processing device, and an imaging device capable of preventing image degradation from occurring even when a lens used for capturing an image is unknown, so that correction is difficult because the amount of mixed color is unknown and even when an array is complicated as in the case of a new color filter array, said image degradation being caused by the occurrence of color mixture caused by the intrusion of light passing through an adjacent color filter. This image processing device comprises a lens information acquiring means, a mixed-color information determination means, a mosaic image acquiring means, a mixed-color correction means, and a synchronization processing means. In the image processing device, when the mixed-color information determination means determines that mixed-color information is unknown, the mosaic image acquiring means reads a second mosaic image from a color imaging element, wherein the second mosaic image is obtained by reducing a number of first pixel types in a first mosaic image, said number of first pixel types being determined by an arrangement of pixels adjacent to a first pixel of a first color consisting of at least one or more colors in four directions at the minimum pitch, said first mosaic image including pixels of each color of the first color and a second color and having said number of first pixel types being at least four.
